KORD is a Romanian pop-dance band formed in 2003.
They are probably best known for their two-week appearance on the Romanian Top 100 chart with their single "Langa mine" (Next to me) in December 2005[1][2], their appearance in a Romanian television interview[3], and their music videos.

KORD was initiated by Stefan Corbu and Catalina Lumperdean in 2003.
Stefan Corbu was a member of the band of well-known romanian artist Nicola. [4]
In 2005 Kord released their first own-regime song, with music, lyrics and orchestration entirely made by Kord. [5]
In December 2005 their song “Langa mine” (Next to me) entered into the Romanian Top 100 chart (RT 100).
Radio channels like Radio Total, Radio România Actualităţi, Radio Bucuresti, Radio Horion, Radio Iasi and others also featured their song in charts.[citation needed]
In January 2006 Kord was the subject of a half hour broadcast for many times at some national radio stations like Radio Total , Radio Lynx [6].
In January 2007 they launched the official website www.kord.ro.[7]
One of their first appearance on a national tv station was at Naţional TV in a broadcast called Dimineata cu Razvan si Dani [8]
On 15 november 2007 Kord launched the video of a new single entitled Viseaza on a tv show named Teoviziunea on the Romantica TV channel.
