[edit] Tory/Country Whig

at the end of the 17th century Philip Foley and his relative Thomas Foley are both described as Tories, but Philip Foley is marked earlier a country whig. While the country whigs allied themselves with the Tories, is it correct to describe them as Tories? Peterkingiron (talk) 17:29, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
