[edit] Summary

Droitwich Spa railway station, Worcestershire, UK, basks in late afternoon sunshine on 10 March 2007. The station sits just to the west of Droitwich Spa Junction, where the line that joins the Cross-Country Route to Birmingham New Street diverges from the line to Stourbridge Junction and Snow Hill. In terms of railway geography, it is situated to the east of the Worcester Triangle, so the next stations to the west are Worcester Shrub Hill or Worcester Foregate Street. Hartlebury is the next station stop to the east, but most trains pass this station to call at Kidderminster. The first stop on the line to Birmingham New Street is Bromsgrove.
