Drnoitall.hello
Why did you remove my things? Please tell me so in future I won't make the same mistake. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Drnoitall.hello (talk • contribs) 12:21, 2 April 2007 (UTC).
Looking at your changes a second time, they appear legit, and I have reinstated them. In the future, you should remember to include a comment in the edit summary explaining what you did and/or why. Uncommented changes are a common symptom of vandalism, and at first glance your change looked like it was simply moving some text around. We get so much vandalism that an unexplained edit that isn't obvious will often get reverted on the assumption that if it were legit, the person will make it again or say something (like you did. ;^) Sorry for the confusion, and I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. wrp103 (Bill Pringle) 14:51, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] May 2007

You can edit just a section by pressing the edit link next to a title of the section you wish to edit. Not sure about your other questions, probably something you would have to ask editors who are involved with that page. To create a userpage just click "edit page" on whatever page you wish to look at the code. When you see things inside these brackets those refer to templates, they work just like CSS. [edit] Content of User Page

You can put pretty much whatever you want on your user page. Most people include a description / biography of themselves; others use it to state things they believe in; others use it as a place for bookmarks to pages they visit often. If you notice on my use page, I have a short description of who I am, what my interests are, etc. which is mainly for others. I then have a section that I use to copy and paste onto the user pages of others, like welcome messages, vandalism warnings, etc.

I notice that you have a section for people to place questions. Since it is usually considered vandalism for one user to edit the user page of another, you probably won't get much of a response. You could try to add it to your talk page, but I'm guessing you still won't get much response. Wikipedia isn't a social network, and any discussions tend to be about articles (including asking for background information).

Is there something specific you are thinking about? You can answer here, since I have your talk page on my watchlist. wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 11:50, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tables

How do you make those index tables? You have one on your talk. --Drnoitall.hello 04:37, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Your question was replied at the Wikipedia:Help Desk.--Trampton 05:49, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, Dr., you start with:

[edit] Re:Userboxes

Well, you can find some at Wikipedia:Userboxes or you can create them yourself with:

which would produce...

Your text here.

Additionally, there's
which would produce...

Your text here.

Finally, there's one for two images:

which would produce...

Your text here.

Obviously, you can change the images and colors to suit your needs. Or simply press "edit" on other userpages and copy the userbox(s). Hope this helps, if not then contact me.--Trampton 03:57, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
