[edit] Your Edit to New Zealand
Here, may well be reverted by someone who argues that it doesn't comply with our policy regarding neutrality or any of a number of our other guidelines and policies. Ideas about who is the greatest New Zealander (or anything else for that matter) can be controversial.
I won't revert your edit, rather I'll assume good faith on your part, but you might want to review your edit. Before making potentially controversial edits, it's wise to discuss them on the article's talk page first.
Best regards - Xdenizen (talk) 07:28, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
No, I said I wouldn't revert it, but that someone else most likely would. My point was to give you an opportunity to refactor the edit to fit our policies and guidelines. You should know that Sir Edmund's death has been noted here and his individual article.

[edit] My quote is not working....
{{helpme}}
I tried putting a quote at the top of the Sir Edmund Hillary page, but it has not worked, and I do not know what i have done... can you please help. Drkshadowmaster (talk) 08:30, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi Dan,
Your quote did work but Antilived has reverted that edit as redundant. Before you go adding it again you need to understand what Wikipedia is not and also the policy of neutrality that I referred to earlier.
If you feel that the quote has a valid place in that article, you should discuss it on the talk page. Also you might like to discuss the issue with the editor who reverted your quote.
