[edit] Rec.sport.football.college
Howdy, I wanted to let you know I nominated the page you created Rec.sport.football.college for deletion. Wikipedia is not really the place for personal essays or other forms of original research. If you think that the work does fit within the policy on original reseach (see WP:NOR), you may remove the deletion notice and the article will be discussed at articles for deletion. If the notice is not removed, deletion will probably occur five days after the notice was added, however such articles are sometimes deleted speedily (see WP:SPEEDY for criteria). I hope this does not discourage you from continuing to work on Wikipedia, and I would be happy to help with questions you might have. Feel free to leave me a note on my talk page, User_talk:TeaDrinker. There are also other ways to get help mentioned in the welcome message above. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 03:22, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes, we try not to have articles about obscure bands. If you see any that are not notable according to WP:MUSIC, feel free to nominate them for deletion. Rec.sport.football.college per a discussion at Articles for Deletion in which there was consensus to delete. Cheers. --Fang Aili talk 02:42, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- There's a deletion review of this going on here. Feel free to express your opinion. --Fang Aili talk 20:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re:
I'd probably support inclusion, like I said, if an article legimately asserting importance is written, with a source or two. I don't have time to write it right now, but any links to a good source would be appreciated... you can mention them on my user page or by e-mail (click "e-mail this user" on my talk page). Thanks. --W.marsh 19:59, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
