Talk:Drill (mammal)

[edit] Changed image.
I changed the image from Image:Drill primate.png to Image:Drill Lincolnparkzoo.jpg, in order to have a photo illustrating the article instead of a drawing. I don't see anything in any guidelines saying that a photo is preferred to an image, but I thought I'd read it at some point. Debate is welcome on this point; I don't want to chuck anyone's favorite image. grendel|khan 14:05, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- You did right. A good photo is generally preferred over a good drawing, but a good drawing is preferred over a bad photo. - UtherSRG (talk) 14:13, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah; that's what I was thinking--the drawing was a pretty good one, and the photo, frankly, will never be a featured picture (it's a little blurry when you look at it full-size, because the light was so low there). But I do think it's adequate to illustrate the subject. (I wonder which subspecies it was. The sign at the zoo just said "Drill - Mandrillus leucophaeus".) grendel|khan 14:56, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
