Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP is a law firm founded in Philadelphia in 1849 by John Christian Bullitt. The firm has more than 650 attorneys located in 12 offices in the United States. Its largest offices are in Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington, D.C. The firm maintains a broad range of practices, including commercial litigation, corporate and securities, government and regulatory affairs, health, intellectual property, and real estate. Its clients have included Hewlett-Packard, GlaxoSmithKline, and the Walt Disney Company. In 2007 Drinker Biddle & Reath expanded by combining with Chicago-based Gardner Carton & Douglas.[1]
Corporate Board Member magazine ranked Drinker Biddle as the #4 corporate law firm in the Philadelphia market (2005).[2]
