Welcome

Welcome to Wikipedia , I hope you will like it here and decide to stay.

You may want to take a look at the welcome page, tutorial, and stylebook, avoiding common mistakes and Wikipedia is not pages.

Here are some links I've found useful:

Also: To sign comments on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your username and the time after your comments. Signing with three tildes ~~~ will just sign your username.

I hope to see you around Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page!

[edit] Duplicate articles

Regarding the various articles about yourself you have posted, please do not post multile articles which are exact copies of each other. If need be post one copy and make the others redirects, you can find out more by reading the links above. I'll replace all but one with a redirect. --pgk(talk) 09:32, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your articles

Some of the people (and their activities) you have written about may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and the content of your articles may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopaedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. --Fire Star 09:48, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Redirects

A redirect is made by typing in #REDIRECT [[NAME OF PAGE 2]]. Replace "NAME OF PAGE 2" with the page name you want it to direct too. An example:

To redirect the Cats page to the Cat page, edit the Cats page and enter:

#REDIRECT [[Cat]]

[edit] Note

You can't undo a page marked for deletion, but you can vote to keep it. Articles for Deletion (AfD) is a process open to anyone with an account.

Happy editing!

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Daniel.Rezac.jpg)

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Daniel.Rezac.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 22:46, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
