[edit] Book of Mormon and Bible

Drew, I wonder if you could provide the source which you obtained the image BookofmormonandBible.gif which you uploaded today? It lacks source citation, and images on Wikipedia must be verifiably non-copyrighted or public-domain. I certainly think the picture adds a bit to the article Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but to prevent its deletion by administrators, we need a source. If you did obtain it from a copyrighted source (e.g. just off some random webpage), perhaps you could take a similar picture with a digital camera? That picture would be copyright to you, and if you uploaded it, Wikipedia would be glad to use it. The reason I ask is because there is no source cited and I've found at least a few web pages which use the same image. You can leave me a response on My talk page at your convenience. Keep up the good edits! --ABQCat 05:43, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Drew, yeah, that's where I suspected it had been obtained. I put the image up for copyright review - I think it's pretty likely that administrators will delete it in a week from Wikipedia. Like I mentioned, would it be possible for you to take a picture yourself or have a friend take one? It is useful to have this picture in the article. As I said before, keep up the good work. If you've got questions about copyrights on images (what can you use, what can't you use, etc), you can look at Wikipedia:Copyrights#Image_guidelines. --ABQCat 06:07, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Baptist

Drew, I attended Baptist churches my entire life, but have little clue about some of the links in the External links section on Baptist. I've noticed that over time it's getting longer and longer, and including more and more sites which are associated with Baptists, but don't know anything about most of them. I'd like to remove the ones which are least notable (to make the impact of the links left a bit greater), and could use some help. The 2 criteria I think I have for the links is 1) mentioned in the article or 2) notable in their own right and SHOULD be mentioned in the article. Could you take a look at the list of links and let me know what you think? --ABQCat 01:36, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
