Welcome to Wikipedia! I don't remember writing that well when I was in high school! --User:LMS
good editors help so much :) thanks -dreamyshade
Yes, welcome. I read your harp article; nice job! --Stephen Gilbert
it's still in progress: links to come! -dreamyshade
Dreamy - hahaha, you beat me to it - chrz Manning
thanks, Dreamyshade! ;) --User:AV

Nice edit on Moonies definition, couldn't have said it better myself! And excellent work on Boy band: incisive, yet comprehensive. Are you sure you're only in high school? :-) --User:Ed Poor
yes I certainly am! :) some of us were addicted at a young age - makes it harder to quit, you know... I think User:Jzcool is in high school too.
- Yes he is, but that is where the comparison ends... :-) User:MMGB

- just let him find a place in Wikipedia, you'll see (I think) - dreamyshade
Hey Dreamy, nice work on tidying up Electric guitar - I was going to do it myself, but it seems to be in quite capable hands already :) Cheers - User:MMGB
Thanks for your assist on the Magna Carta article, Dreamyshade. : ) User:F. Lee Horn
you're welcome - since high school doesn't teach me a lot of things that Wikipedia doesn't have already, I have to content myself with copyediting :) - dreamyshade
Well, you should be picking up quite a bit of new information just fr om reading the articles posted on here. Some, if not most of the people who have the courage to write on Wikipedia (knowing that their writing will be subjected to intense examination) are very knowledgeable in the areas in which they write. Feel free to edit to your heart's content! :) User:F. Lee Horn
Dreamyshade, message for you on user:Larry Sanger. Larry has left the building, sadly. --Robert Merkel
Hi Dreamyshade, about your question on my user page--Nupedia is sort of in mothballs at present, so the issue is moot right now. If it revives, I would recommend that you do the very best you can on the article and just send a copy directly to G. B. Lane (the music editor). He should be able to advise you further. --Larry_Sanger
Hey Dreamy I was trying to figure it out what you had changed out on my user talk page but I've failed. :-) Yes, the days of the high school make me feel even younger again. I'll read your article about Quetzal soon. --XJam 2 Tuesday [2002.03.19] (0)

Hello! Thanks for your compliments on my changes to harp. I will probably take another go at it sometime but I don't actually have that much time for Wikipedia at the moment so it's really just when I've got some spare time/can't sleep/need to relax. I once had the chance to do quite a bit of research on harps and have quite a bit of information about them stored in the cobwebby corners of my hard drive. I'll dredge some more of it up some time. Talk to you again sometime! Mona-Lynn 11:04, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Hi Dreamyshade
Your Harp page is very impressive. And thanks for tailoring the Myanamr Harp (Saung) page. I will talk to myanmar-image webmaster (i have contact with him since 2003) and upload a few myanmar harp pictures and video-audio links after, to make it more robust.
Thanks again. - Kyaw 01:54, 9 Sept 2005
I think by looking at your userpage you could use some userboxes. Fattdoggy 11:53, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

¿Cómo estás? That is really bizarre. I got a message from Doug Thrift, and then from his website I meandered over to yours. How did you find my Wikipedia username =)?
Have a great night, and maybe I'll be seeing you this weekend.
(I assume you know who I am?) iNaNimAtE 07:31, 13 February 2007 (UTC) PS: OK, so I tried to keep the consistent look and feel of your talk page (I know how critical it is), and it took like four edits. Sorry =).
Hiya Britta! Like you said, it was the first website-article which had a section like that, plus, in my opinion, it didn't add anything valuable to the article. I think a small link would suffice. And you're right, I should've put in a summary of my editing. --Soetermans 07:06, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I added a link back in there. Dreamyshade 08:10, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
I just want to say thanks for the congratulations. That's so sweet! :-D Happy birthday for you too! Big step, huh? Turning 20 and all. It's all downwards from here :-P --Soetermans 06:23, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi-
I saw the edits you made to my page. Overall, they seem fine.

hi, thanks for drawing my attention to that. I came across the picture on commons - perhaps it is wise to delete the picture itself quoting that edit? There'd be no real point in keeping it if the person portrayed wouldn't want it used. Deadstar 17:22, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not on en: wiki much so I'm not going to check the VP to see what's going on with it. I'll put it up for deletion on commons (which is where I hang out these days), quoting what's going on here, and we'll see what they say. Kind regards, Deadstar 09:14, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
You are listed as one of the earlier editors of The Rocky Horror Picture Show that still maintains their membership. I invite you to visit the peer review for the current article here.--Amadscientist 08:46, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for stopping by my page :) I had checked out your blog and stuff earlier, and I did notice you were 20 as well :) Pretty awesome that you work for Delicious too!
Anyways, thanks for stopping by, and maybe we will talk again! James Mowery 04:29, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi Dreamyshade, Can you let me know what was wrong with the page? I thought it was well referenced and fairly accurate description. Also the site is very relevant in the categories suggested. Sorry, this was my first page! User:djhomeless, 23rd October 2007
Hi Dreamyshade, thanks for adding the external links to the article - well spotted and it's always great to add sources. Autarch (talk) 12:16, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your work on the style and profesionalism in Wikipedia:Be bold. Fredsmith2 (talk) 00:25, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
If you see a list of items in a page and some of them are red, please don't delete the red items. Red link means no further information is available in Wikipedia. Even if no further information is available about the item, the item should still be present in the list. For example, in a list of fruits, you find Apple is red linked, don't delete it because even if no further information is available about Apple in Wikipedia, Apple is still a fruit! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.112.107.119 (talk) 16:33, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
For example, in the List of Vector Drawing programs page, programs such as iDraw (an awesome program on Unix systems, opensource, has been around for a long time) was listed, red linked (because no further details were available on wikipedia) but now it is no longer mentioned, as if iDraw does not even exist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.112.107.119 (talk) 04:52, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I'm just curious about three edits you made about six years ago which can be seen at the bottom of this page. Did you actually save those three times, or is it some kind of software bug? (It's funny because the first revision for that page is Wikipedia's 666th.)--71.107.136.165 (talk) 23:58, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

About this; I'm pretty sure that it should be lowercase. See iPod, for example. Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 07:01, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, you don't say... hmm. I was going purely on the iPod example. My mistake, in any case. Cheers! Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 19:49, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Ah, no problem; glad you've found it useful. By the way, you can often find suitable images if you just specify a .gov parameter in a "search within a site or domain" field of your search engine of choice. Óðinn (talk) 05:14, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Note from Jonathan Ned Katz, the historian. You deleted a large and important section of data from the entry about me that someone had begun. I think that is a major mistake since it is very useful for interested scholars to have as much detail as possible about a person, and an online encyclopedia does not have the space limitations that a printed version does. Here's what I said in the discussion secation of my entry.
- This is a CV dump. Is that allowed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.110.11.79 (talk) 18:00, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Jonathan Ned Katz comments. Someone started this entry for me and I decided to fill it out to see what happened. I would like this to be an objective narrative of my work and life, and the fullest list available anywhere of my works and the life that made them possible.
- This is an online encyclopedia, NOT a traditional biographical entry in a printed encyclopedia, therefore it does not have the same space limitations. It is very useful for scholars and anyone interested to have available as complete a list as possible of a scholar's works. That is what I have done on the entry for Allan Berube. So if you are going to delete portions of my works listed, you should also delete the full list of Berube's works. But I don't think you should do either.
- So I ask the person who deleted a major part of the list of my works to put that list back. Thanks. Jonathan —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jnkatz1 (talk • contribs) 20:21, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
