I am a Wikipedia addict. It's awful but true. I'm terribly busy right now, because I just started my first brand new full-time job, but I will try very hard to continue working on the articles that matter to me. If you need anything, just drop me a note. Cheers!

I recently graduated from New York University, and I majored in Nursing. I am a born and bred New Yorker, and graduated from Hunter College High School. I am interested in musical theater, biology, and racial advocacy. I am now a registered nurse working in an ICU, and I want to learn as many languages as possible to better help my non-English speaking monolingual patients. You can get me interested in just about anything, granted you present a compelling case. Anything mundane that you would like to know about me can be found in the little user boxes below. If you want to know anything else, just ask. I started editing Wikipedia summer of 2006. I am part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Musicals and Wikipedia:WikiProject New York City.

Well, a large portion of my userpage is made to convenience me with quick links as it is, but I couldn't figure out where else to stick my sandbox. I'm just being silly now. So here it is.
[edit] Academic sources about stereotypes of Caucasian people
So, I wasn't editing stereotypes of whites when it got nominated for deletion recently, but I tried hard to save it. It was in terrible condition, and contained a lot of original research, but I tried to save it because I believe it is a legitimate subject matter, and the subject itself is verifiable, and isn't original research.
A lot of people trying to delete the article seemed convinced that it was not a topic that was verifiable with actual academic sources, yet were too lazy to check for themselves before insisting that the sources didn't exist. So I even made it easy for everyone and got off my ass and found the damn sources for them. ...and then people continued to say that it was original research and impossible to verify academically. (WHAT DO YOU CALL THESE: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12] ????? Do you think I single-handedly wrote 12 books and articles about the subject by myself?? I spent all of 15 minutes looking and I found 12 sources already! If you don't know what the hell you're talking about why are you talking?). So, that was to no avail. It got deleted anyway.
The article was in horrible shape, but it also didn't meet a single one of the criteria on Wikipedia:Deletion policy.
God I get so angry when people aren't logical or reasonable. Yes, everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but there are facts too. It is a fact that there are academic sources about this topic. It is a fact that the article didn't meet any of Wikipedia's criteria for deletion. I presented these facts and hard evidence and used logic and reasoning, and yet the people who didn't still got the article deleted. *sigh* If people choose to ignore facts...there's nothing I can do about that. //RANT
Yeah, so I didn't make this section of my userpage just to rant. I made it to keep my 15 minutes of research somewhere so that it wouldn't totally go to waste.
