Talk:Drea de Matteo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
OK, how is Drea de Matteo bisexual? I do not see anything in this article stating she had a girlfriend; only that she had an ex-boyfriend and is currently dating Shooter Jennings. This needs to either be explained or all bisexual references removed from this article. [[216.248.93.210 22:09, 11 November 2005 (UTC)]]
- There's this link, which quotes her as saying she has been with women. [1]. However you're right. Her orientation should be mentioned in the article or the category should be deleted. -Willmcw 06:03, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
I removed the bisexual category. I did a quick search of the web for references to this but the only support for this claim that de Matteo has had sexual experiences with woman is The Daily Sport, a UK newspaper which is emphatically not reliable. The Sport is the most downmarket, trashy UK tabloid and is not considered a proper newspaper - it carries a lot of softcore porn - including fake celebrity nudes - and "shock" news stories which are famously unreliable or even just obviously made up. It is not a serious source, and if de Matteo really wanted to talk about her sexuality publicly, The Sport is a terribly bad choice for a media outlet. I also checked Factiva for other news sources related to de Matteo and her supposed bisexuality and there were no hits (sidenote: The Daily Sport is not considered a serious enough news source to be included in Factiva). [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sopranos ep504.jpg
Image:Sopranos ep504.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
