[edit] Source
- [1], cedited to Kay Davies' *site, which is apparently undergoing a redesign. She credits crops of that image to the J. B. Lippincott Company, a philadelphia-based publishing house (specialized on medical and nursing books, though...). Apparently she scanned the image from some book? It may well be from the Rutgers archive... Nowhere is any indication of GFDL, nor have I found any info on when this image was first published. One possibility is that is was published in Elizabeth Drexel Lehr; "King Lehr" and the Gilded Age; Lippincott, 1935; reprint ISBN 0-781-28242-X. As a wedding photo, it might also well be unpublished, and thus basically still copyrighted, despite its age. Lupo 20:16, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
