Drew and Mike

Drew and Mike was a morning radio show hosted by Drew Lane and Mike Clark on WRIF, 101.1 FM in Detroit, Michigan market from 1993 until 2008. The show grew to become the number one rated program in the market. Drew Lane took a leave of absence from the show in September 2007 and announced his resignation on April 22, 2008.[1]
WRIF described the program as running from 5:30 am to 10:00 am on weekdays, but this was variable. Typically, "Best of Drew and Mike" clips began at 5:30 am, with the opening theme at 6:00 am.
Drew and Mike's "Cliffnotes Theater" parodied popular movies such as Titanic and Monster's Ball. Compilations of these parodies were sold in audio CD format during the Christmas season of 2004. Following a tradition of supporting charities, the proceeds of the sales given to charity.[2]
It was reported in April 2008 that Drew Lane was expected to leave the show permanently, which was later confirmed on April 23, 2008 when he left.[3] [4]
