Drew Abbott

Drew Abbott was a guitarist for Third Power, Detroit's first "power trio". The embryonic lineup was Drew Abbott, Jem Targal and Craig. Later on Abbot became the guitarist for Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band. After leaving Seger's band he formed a band called Blue Mountain Highway , later shortened to Blue Highway. It is a four-piece that plays in Northern Michigan at a place called Mico's.
Drew Abbott appears on Bob Seger's Seven (1974), Beautiful Loser (1975), Live Bullet (1976), Night Moves (1976), Stranger in Town (1978), Against the Wind (1980), Nine Tonight (1981), and The Distance (1982).
