Dreher High School is a four year public high school in Columbia, South Carolina, United States.
History
The school was founded in 1938. It was named for E.S. Dreher, Superintendent of Columbia Schools. Dreher opened with 651 students and 30 faculty members. Today, the school currently has 1,302 enrolled student and is classified AAA by the SCHSL. The original building has been demolished in the Summer of 2007. A new Dreher has been built right next to the old school and opened August 20th, 2007, at the start of the 2007-2008 school year.
