From 1996 to 2004, the Dream Theater International Fan Club (DTIFC) - now disbanded - and the regional fan clubs released several exclusive releases to its members at Christmas time:

In 2005, a select group of the regional fan clubs decided to continue with the exclusive releases under the "Dream Theater International Fan Clubs" (DTIFC) name. This group of fan clubs have collaborated to produce and distribute several fan club DVDs which includes interviews, backstage footage and on-stage performances not seen anywhere else:
