Dream Creatures are fictional animals from the TV series Magi-Nation, the collectible card game Magi-Nation Duel and the Game Boy Color game Magi Nation. Dream creatures come in all different shapes and sizes and will protect its Magi if needed. There are two different kinds of dream creatures, there are regular Dream creatures and Core creatures. Core creatures are twisted Dream creatures and only serve Core Magi. However, even though their are Core creatures, they sometimes actually go with non-corrupted Magi from different regions.
This is how a Magi catches a Dream creature (in the show on Kids WB, not the game). First, a Magi goes around a finds a wild Dream creature (ex: Forall a Orothean Magi finds a wild Hunter Jile). Next, the Magi uses their own Dream creature and /or weapon to defeat the Dream creature (ex: Forall uses his Typhoon axe and Allio to defeat the wild Hunter Jile). Then, the Magi tames or makes an agreement with the defeated Dream creature. How you do it depends how intelligent the Dream creature is (ex: since the Hunter Jile is not that intelligent, Forall tames it with a piece of meat). If everything goes well, the defeated Dream creature will leave a animite crystal for the Magi and returns to the Dream Plane.
