Dream"A"live is the eighth studio album of the Japanese boy band, Arashi. It was released on April 23, 2008 in two editions. A regular edition contains a bonus track, while a limited edition includes a second CD containing a solo song from each of the members of the group. The album contains the singles "Happiness", theme of the Japanese drama Yamada Taro Monogatari, and "Step and Go".

In a March 2, 2008 airing of ShoBeat, it was revealed that the Dream"A"live title was created by Sakurai Sho and Matsumoto Jun. The original title was "Alive", then "A Live"; purposely divided to indicate the group's name and the live performance. Matsumoto added "Dream" to the title to signify how "dreams can turn into reality" (The tour was considered as a major achievement, as only two other Johnny's Entertainment groups have previously performed a five dome tour).

Production on the album started with the release of "Happiness" on September 2007. On February 24, 2008, it was announced that the group will be doing a concert tour of the five major domes in Japan that will be entitled ARASHI Marks 2008 Dream "A" live. Word of the new album did not come until March. The album, slated to be released in late April, will coincide with the tour, scheduled to begin in mid-May.
On March 12, 2008, the album was available for pre-order in online stores, with the two editions even reaching as high as the top two spots on CDJapan's Pre-Order Ranking, as well as other online music stores. The album hit the #1 spot on Oricon Daily Albums Chart on the day of its release, with the sales index number of 57,795 (about 101,000 copies).[3] Aside from topping the sales rankings, Oricon also reported that the album has become a hit with more male buyers, with more men (even including those in the 40-year-old age bracket) planning to buy Dream"A"live, as compared to the group's previous album. The music statistics group attributes the group's increasing fan base to its primetime variety program, Himitsu no Arashi-chan and the various dramas and commercials that the members have appeared in. It is considered quite a development, since many of Johnny's Entertainment promotions and releases are geared towards female teens and young adults.[4]
