[edit] Parkinson's

I see you have an interest in Parkinson's disease. Good. The article is still in need of some work before we can offer it to the community as a featured article.

It is possible you are not aware of the problems the article has suffered from in the past. A highly disruptive editor has been making fairly controversional changes in the past, rarely adhering to consensus by other users. This has led to a community ban, but this editor still occasionally resurfaces to push his agenda.

Please make it your habit to discuss far-ranging edits (such as the deletion of two full paragraphs) on the article's talk page. This is especially expected of novel users, whose intentions may be in conflict with established Wikipedia policy. I really urge you to do this, however much you may disagree with the material you've deleted. Users who fail to do this, or give ad hominem replies when challenged, may be regarded as reincarnations of the previous disruptive editor and banned.

I'm looking forward to your participation. Are you a clinician? Where do you practice? JFW | T@lk 23:03, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

An aknowledgement that you'd read the above would be appreciated. I notice you have been removing material from the PD article that you obviously didn't believe in. Would it be too hard to explain your actions in a bit more detail on the Parkinson's talk page? JFW | T@lk 23:05, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
