[edit] WikiProject: Computer & video games

Hey, Drake, thanks for joining the Computer & video games project. Unfortunately, things have been stagnant for a while at the project. It looks like things fell apart when we tried to come up with a standard template for all video & computer games (looky here or discuss here). Everyone stopped responding as I experiemented with different designs. The tricky part was getting system requirements for all different systems. But, that is only an issue for classic games that were releaed for multiple home computers (such as the Apple II and C64), but for modern games that are only released on the PC or Mac, we can use something like Template 8 (take a look at the links to see it). If the game is released for multiple video game consoles, that's not a problem since all consoles have the same hardware and thus no special requirements. I'd like your input on the templates and, if you want any changes, we can work on one we are both happy with. Of course, there is no obligation on your part, I just wanted some input so we can move the template forward. Thanks! Frecklefoot | Talk 19:28, Aug 5, 2004 (UTC)
