From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi Dragula, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Thankyou for finding the time to sign up and contribute to our little project. If you're in doubt about anything, you might want to check out some of these pages:

It's also a good idea to sign the new user log and add a little about yourself.

When contributing to a talk page, you can sign your name by typing four tildes after your comments, like this: ~~~~. Some people do not pay attention to unsigned comments. An important note: Please do not add this signature to encyclopedia articles you may edit, even if you have created them. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page, or at the Help desk or Village Pump.

But above all, make sure you be bold when contributing, and have fun!

[edit] Idiotarian

Hi, I'm just trying to figure out what the NPOV dispute is - would you mind replying on the Talk:Idiotarian page? I left a message for AnonMoos as well. Thanks, Kaisershatner 22:05, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Reusing refs

Hi. Here's a little hint about using one link in multiple <ref>s. You can add a "name=something" to the first <ref>, like this:

<ref name=LGF12345>...</ref>

then use

<ref name=LGF12345/>

for the second reference. (It's important to remember that slash, as I've found out the hard way!) The only problem is picking a name not used in any other <ref>s. Hope this helps, CWC(talk) 05:48, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possible Conflict of interest related to Little Green Footballs

There's a conversation [1] going on at the conflict of interest noticeboard about your edits to the LGF article which seem to be an apparent conflict of interest. I am concerned that you may be violating Wikipedia's policies, guidelines and customers regarding "ownership" of articles, conflict of interest and neutral point of view. Please review these guidelines and policies if you aren't familiar with them. Keep in mind that we welcome your participation, even if you are closely affiliated with LGF. However, if that is the case, you will probably need to avoid editing this article.

One more thing, could you possibly explain what you meant by this comment? [2] Jehochman (talk/contrib) 02:34, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

I am satisfied with your explanation. Thank you for clearing up that misunderstanding. Jehochman (talk/contrib) 05:28, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Dragula. I'm glad this has been cleared up. I admire the way you follow Wikipedia policies, especially WP:NPOV. Thanks for your contributions, CWC 14:46, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi CWC, I'm glad this was cleared up too! Following your example has personally helped me understand a lot about Wikipedia policies in various areas, so thanks to you too. 16:07, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Red-green-brown alliance

I have nominated Red-green-brown alliance, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Red-green-brown alliance. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 16:25, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
