I was born in 1983 in rural Kentucky, USA. I obtained a BA in Spanish and a BS in biology at the University of Kentucky. I recently graduated from the Patterson School of Diplomacy with a masters in NGOs while studying for an M.D. at the UK College of Medicine; the latter is still very much in progress. I plan to practice emergency medicine in the U.S.A. and abroad with an organization like the Red Cross or Médecins Sans Frontières and perhaps one day move into administration.

[edit] Contributions

I joined Wikipedia with a starry-eyed zeal to pour my intellectual waters into some kind of free creative commons and thus swell the collective pool of human knowledge. My philosophy is still in the process of coming back to reality, but meanwhile I remain impressed by the project's depth and relative reliability despite some issues. I am a rabid inclusionist and a more moderate exopedist, separatist, and WikiGnome.

My very first edit was by IP in Wisteria, and since then I've become attached to several articles that can be found at my desk. I contribute as randomly as the next guy, but I've focused on articles connected with biology, history, international relations, and breakdance. I once worked in the welcoming and counter-vandalism committees, but I drifted away due to time constraints. For the same reason, I have grudgingly taken leave from my old stomping grounds at the WP:SPATRA and my work in the Spanish Wikipedia under the identical name of Draeco. Medical school is the culprit, and since it began, my less-prolific editing has tended to concern obscure topics in medicine.
