I've been seeing this statement more and more lately: "...dealing with the relationship between creativity and self-imposed resistance." Where does this statement come from? Is it something said by the director, or just something some reviewer made up? I'd like to see a source for it. Of all the themes I noticed in this film, that's one that just never crossed my mind. The statement comes from the Drawing Restraint 9 press release (written by Drew Daniel). Kabuki dreams (talk) 23:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC) 23:09, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

On the ship, is it 'jelly' or is it konyaku? Also, what exactly is a 'field emblem' to which there are several references...? 88.107.148.59 (talk) 20:31, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

If you're talking about the cuisine, it may well be konyaku - I'll find a reference for that and add it, thank you. The 'field emblem' is a shape used frequently by the artist, Matthew Barney. I'll see if I can find a good reference for that too. Kabuki dreams (talk) 12:44, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
