[edit] UML

What this article has not mentioned is the relationship it has with Universal Models Ltd. (UML) as they are started up by the same person who created DML as well as that store has notability for being the biggest and best known of the model stores in Hong Kong. [1]. Added in new section "Sister Companies". Please help expand. Thanks. Feathered serpent 03:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
It may be better if information about how the two companies relate to each other can be added. I am not so sure if the location of the original store is of much importance to Dragon. You may consider creating an individual page for UML, though.

[edit] Features of Dragon kits

I think we should mention how the Dragon kits differ from those from its competitors. Hence I have added the sections about Dragon kits' features. However, I don't have a recent Dragon kit with any of the features so I don't have much to say about them yet. Those who know, like, how the Magic Tracks work please help. Also I am wondering if we should unify all references of "DML" to "Dragon", because that's how it is commonly know among hobbyist.

The comment about parts count being included 'unlike its competitors' is not 100% accurate (any more?); at the very least, current kits from a number of other manufacturers show parts count, so without a citation this sounds questionable. Flexibull (talk) 00:16, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. Also, 'Dragon' is not the universally-used name. Most (not all, but most) people I know call them 'DML' kits. Regards, DMorpheus (talk) 15:07, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Japanese Article

The Japanese version of this article seems to have information that this English version is missing (for instance the founder and early history). However I don't quite understand Japanese. It will really help if someone can read the Japanese article and fill in the gaps. -- Feathered serpent 02:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cody

Isn't Dragon Models the manufacturer of the Cody doll that appeared in the infamous hoax photo of an American serviceman with a gun held to his head? See here. The DM site has a picture of a Cody doll, but only its clothing resembles that of the doll in the photo. Why doesn't that incident have its own page, anyway? As a hoax it seems to illustrate the sort of anti-Islamic sentiment that isn't helping matters any. Asat 10:33, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Are you referring to this? --Feathered serpent 13:31, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Yep, that's the fellow. Asat 07:22, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
