Dragosani is the name of a character in the first fiction novel of Necroscope, written by Brian Lumley.
Born in 1945, Boris Dragosani was native to the Wallachian region, in the European country of Romania. From an early age, Boris met with a Vampire(or Vampir), known as Thibor Ferenczy of the Wamphyri, who held an unholy spot in the "Cruciform Hills", also known as a lower Carpathian Alps. From Ferenczy, Boris learned the skill of Necromancy, reviving secrets from dead animals and humans through ritualistic dissections. Boris used this skill to his advantage.
In later years, Boris became a right hand man in the work of Gregor Borowitz, the head of an ESP-branch in Russia, at the Chateau Bronnitsy. Later, after being implanted with a seed from Thibor Ferenczy in the cruciform hills, via a leprous tentacle, he started to grow into one of the Wamphyri.
With his new found powers of the Wamphyri, he became immensely stronger and proceeded to take over the E-Branch of the Russians, killing Gregor Borowitz and Max Batu, another ESP agent, in the process. His reign at the E-Branch did not last long and Boris was soon eliminated and destroyed by Harry Keogh, in a large confrontation at the E-Branch. His vampiric body still remained after Keogh's attack, but was soon eliminated by Felix Krakovitch, and Sergei Gullharov by use of fire.
