Dragan Žilić (Serbian Cyrillic: Драган Жилић) is a Serbian football goalkeeper who currently plays for NK Rijeka, one of the top clubs in Croatia'n First League - Prva HNL. He holds number 12 and is the starting Goalkeeper for NK Rijeka. When he was first signed for NK Rijeka he was the victim of a lot of discrimination by its fans. They threw flares at him, and had banners that read "Zilic, out of Rijeka, and out of Croatia". However, he was stronger that all this discrimination and has proved to be a good goalkeeper for NK Rijeka, producing many quality saves that changed matches.[1]
From 2006 Žilić gets Croatian passport becoming Croatian citizen.[2]
