Dracosia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dracosia (sometimes known as Drac) is a telnet-based talker geared toward adult audiences interested in roleplaying bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism and other general roleplay as well as chatting with other consenting adults. It is currently run by Xavier and has existed since 2005. It still exists today and has a slowly growing user base. Entry to Dracosia tends to be by invitation from an existing user; this is to lower the likelihood of HNGs (Horny Net Geeks) and other undesirable people from entering the talker.

[edit] About Dracosia

Dracosia is a BDSM vanilla-style telnet-based age-restricted talker that caters to dominative, submissive, switches and vanilla style sexual preferences. On entry, a user picks Dominant, Switch, Submissive, or Vanilla to demonstrate both their sexual interests as well as how they will be treated and what they can do to each other. Dominants can own Switches and Submissives as slaves, and control them to do their bidding. Using the talker, people earn credits and can buy items and slaves, bid at auctions, or play games with their "money". Thus, Dracosia is not just a talker but something of a MUD as well. Vanillas may not use BDSM commands, however, and submissives have entirely lowercase names.

Dracosia has users as staff that keep the peace; they are generally called wizards or wiz on most talkers. However, on Dracosia they are known as Sorcerers, or (higher up) Archangels. New wizs are nominated by the owner. The Sorcerer are as follows; xaria, Faith, Daerien and Angelicaimee The Archangel are as follows; kaata Major administrative changes, although very infrequent, are carried out by the owner of Dracosia, Xavier.

[edit] History

Dracosia was initially created in 2005, and was taken over by Xavier. A few coders have worked on Dracosia, though currently Wire is coding and mentoring xaria to take over. Many changes have occurred in the time Dracosia has been up, including collars and some unique commands.
