[edit] Compile a list of Articles without problems/syntax errors

Should we compile a list of articles (that are on these lists, but not a problem) that will be flagged in the future, but really aren't problems. Such as John of Gaunt, Alexander the Great, etc.? This would allow for easy removal of those articles when you check for errors in the future. --Rajah 07:32, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

That sounds like a good idea. Feel free to start one.Dr pda 02:42, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flagged articles that don't have Persondata (and never did)

Like this one Julius Victor Carus. Any idea why that happened?--Rajah 16:38, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, the German scripts to extract persondata from the database dump, which I modified, also extract the PND number, (a unique identifier given to all German-speaking authors) from Template:PND. ~30000 articles on de wiki have PND numbers, a few hundred on en wiki have them. It was easier just to leave this part of the code in, since it doesn't hurt, and there might be a similar thing for English authors one day. As for those articles which have PND but no persondata, well, now's as good a time as any to add persondata :) Dr pda 21:16, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Suffix errors

I was reading about Charles Lindbergh and noticed his name field was: NAME Lindbergh, Jr., Charles Augustus . Which I believe is an error as well, you may want to add a regex to catch those cases too. --Rajah 04:37, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
