Template:DR in 2 steps

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

To list a single article for deletion review for the first time, follow this two-step process:

I.
Create the article's deletion review discussion page.
  • Create a subpage on Wikipedia:Deletion review. If you want an article undeleted, say Attack of the fluffy bunnies from Mars, type in Wikipedia:Deletion review/Attack of the fluffy bunnies from Mars and click on the edit button at the top of the page
  • Insert this text:
    {{subst:dr2 | pg=PageName | text=Reason the page should be undeleted}} ~~~~

replacing PageName with the name of the page to be undeleted, and Reason... with a reason you think the page should be undeleted.

  • Consider checking "Watch this page" to follow the voting process
  • Consider the Edit summary "First deletion review reason"
  • Save the page.
II.
Notify users who monitor DR discussion.

Find the appropriate date section on the deletion review page, edit the section and at the top of the list insert: {{Wikipedia:Deletion review/PageName}}. where PageName is the article you wish to have undeleted.
