[edit] Sports

Donevan C.I. has a number of sports teams, most of which are sub-par; the Boy's lacrosse team went 0-5 in the 2006 season, and the bsaeball team fared much worse. The Senior Boys volleyball team managed a LOSSA championship this past season, but was demolished in OFSAA. Donevan's hockey team however, has fared very well over the past few seasons, winning LOSSA last season.

[edit] 2008 Fraser Institute Rankings

As of April 2008, Donevan was ranked the worst high-school in Durham Region by Fraser Institute (tied with J. Clark Richardson in Ajax). The test is based on OSSLT (Literacy Test) results as well as Grade 9 EQAO Math test scores.

This year, the Donevan Junior Basketball team defeated GL Roberts to obtain the title of Lossa champs. The junior boys volleyball team did the same. A huge congrats from the blue devils to you boys!
