[edit] Share IP Address
Hi, Marzipan, and welcome to Wikipedia. Shared IP addresses are something that Wikipedia has always had to deal with, and administrators try to avoild blocking an entire group of people over the actions of one or two. If the vandalisms continue, the initial blocks would only be placed on anonymous edits, so anyone who logs in with a registered username would still be able to edit Wikipedia. Additionally, you are free to post a message on your IP address's talk page notifying the administrators that this IP belongs to a school. Administrators take extra care when dealing with such IP's, so as not to disenfranchise honest Wikipedians. There are a number of different templates you can use to post your message, you can find them at the following site, under 'Single Level Templates.'[[1]] Someguy1221 11:35, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
