Chronicles of the Immpmantropolis Zone (Acronymed "CotIZ") is an epic story and also part Sonic the Hedgehog Fanfic. It is written by Tommy da Hedge, who plays a part in the story. CotIZ takes place on the planet Mobius is about a group of children, who's numbers increase and decrease due to the plot of the story.

Thomas the Hedgehog's family was lost when a mysterious 

explosion destroyed everyone in the area except him and his pet Chao, Ghostly. The two traveled together for a few years on their own when they came across Betsy the Crocodile. She told them the story from half a millenia ago of an Echidna named Ignatius Miles Edmund Immpman (called "Immpman" from this point on) who locked away the dark entity known as the Chaos Xtreme inside of the Zone of Silence. Immpman was given his own city in return called "the Immpmantropolis Zone (hence the name of the epic)". The Hedgehog and the Chao traveled on and came across the Sandopolis Zone (a Zone seen in the game Sonic & Knuckles). They ventured inside and honed their skills for about 7 years. In the present year of 3237, the Mayor of Immpmantropolis was killed by a mysterious force (guess who ) and Immpman, who had kept himself alive using the Chaos Emeralds and the Darkness in people's souls. He hired a female Snake-Demon named Rajnukrah as his assistant and fired his old one, Jeremie the Hedgehog. He would soon create a rebel force to try to overthrow Immpman. On the way to the Immpmantropolis Martial Arts Tournament (Immpman planned to steal everyone's souls at the gathering), Tommy and Ghostly met a Fox named Ryan Zi and an Echidna named Will. On the ship, Immpan reveals himself to be Tommy's cousin. Later that night, Tommy and Ghostly are pushed off the ship and Immpman triesbto kill them in their sleep. They are rescued by Jeremie and Patric the Raccoon. Jeremie stays behind to fight the Shadows as Patric takes Tommy and Ghostly to Troy, an abandon laboratory Immpman's Army once worked in. There, Tommy and Ghostly meet Sora; a Dragon who was born a human. Tory is invaded by the Shadows and Jeremie, Ghostly, and Tommy go to Immpmantropolis to warn the others that have been captured by Rajnukrah. Immpman once again reveals himself but this time, to be the Chaos Xtreme and that he is the reason everyone was an orphan. Immpman begins to sink the island into a lake and kill everyone so he can have their souls and an all-out war breaks out. Rajnukrah betrays her master and drains his energy. Immpman dies there and Rajnukrah restores the island back to the way it was.

As Rajnukrah exits, Tommy, Ghostly, Sora, Jeremie, Will, Patric and Ryan Zi are teleported to the past where they discover Immpman's former self, Jak Farkwaar. They discover how Immpman became evil and went mad. They are teleported back to the future at this point. Back at Troy, Immpman's Experiment, Project: C.Y.L.E., attacks them. The monster falls unconcious and Tommy says that C.Y.L.E. teleported them to the past to drive them mad. He also explained that they learned about Immpman's history only by coincidence.

Immpman's second in command makes himself know, Neoteklos the Hawk. He's the inner frame of a long dead hawk who controls the powers of Darkness and possessed people called the Shadow Assassins. Neoteklos hasn't been defeated as of yet. Immpman was revieved from the dead due to experiments his servants conducted and has declared total war on Mobius has recruited Robotnik to help him.
