Dr.Tomy Mathew was born on 14th February 1964. He took his masters in Commerce in 1986 from the Mahatma Gandhi University. He took his PhD in finance from Annamalai University in 1993. Since then has been working in CMS College Kottayam as a faculty member. He is a visiting faciulty to the School of Management and Business Studies of the Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. He is an approved research guide in commerce. He has successfully supervised four PhD theses and five M.Phil theses till 30/6/2006. His area of interest include stock market, financial and commodity derivatives and international finance. He is also actively particiapting in the administration of the college.
