Dr. Renault's Secret is a 1942 science-fiction horror movie. A young doctor (Shepperd Strudwick) arrives in a French village as the house guest of Dr. Renault (George Zucco). At the house is Dr. Renault's pretty young niece (Lynne Roberts) and an almost ape-like man-servant (J. Carrol Naish). A series of mysterious murders occur at the village before the culprit is identified.
This B-film film has been compared to H. G. Wells' The Island of Dr. Moreau.
