Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV or PKV) at Akola, in Maharashtra, India is a well known agricultural university in the Vidarbha region.
PDKV grants Bachelors & Masters degrees in Science (BSc & MSc) and Agricultural Engineering & Technology. Dr. V M Mayande has been selected as Vice Chancellor of University. He will replace Dr. Nimbalkar whose term is getting expired on 16th May 2007. His term will be for 5 years.
The university made considerable strides in academic, research and extension services during the tenure of a dynamic administrator, scientist of international repute and veterinarian Dr. M. L. Madan, who served as the vice-chancellor of PDKV, Akola from 1999-2002.
