Dr. Ko

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dr. Ko was Chinese but was brought up in a Tibetan monastery, where he became a Lama. It was here, from an early age, he began his study of the ancient art of massage.

After 20 years of Study he moved to the West. He became a doctor in Britain (no sources to confirm) and set up a practice in London before moving to Berlin. In both cases he only treated patients with Tibetan massage techniques.

Dr. Ko was responsible for tutoring Dr. Felix Kersten in the famed massage techniques that quelled Heinrich Himmler's, the ruthless leader of the infamous Schutzstaffel (the SS), stomach pains.

In 1925 Dr. Ko retired and returned to Tibet.
