Dr. John Long Middle School is a Pasco County Public School located in Wesley Chapel, Florida. It serves students in grades 6 through 8. The school was built to relieve overcrowding at nearby middle schools such as Weightman Middle School. Graduates from John Long may attend either Wiregrass Ranch High School or Wesley Chapel High School, both located in Wesley Chapel. Students accepted in the IB Diploma Programme will attend Land O' Lakes High School. The school was named after former superintendent Dr. John Long, who passed away less than year after retiring as superintendent.
