Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, also Agra University is one of the oldest institutions in India. It is located in Uttar Pradesh, in the historic city of Agra. Well known professors at the university include Shankar Dayal Sharma, Motilal Nehru, Gulzari Lal Nanda, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Krishna Dutt Paliwal, Hridyanath Kunzru, and Dr. Deoki Nandan. It is one of the oldest university in India which is running plenty of courses successfully.There are various Departments having various courses in all emerging fields and also certificate courses on foreign languages.
Institute of Engineering & Technology Khandari is it renowned engineering institute of the university.
