The Ambedkar Institute of Technology is an engineering college located on Ring Road, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore, India.
Founded by Late M.H. Jayprakash Narayan in 1979, and named after Dr B R Ambedkar, the institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is accredited by AICTE.[1] The institute offers both under-graduate and post-graduate courses.
Dr. P Martin Jebraj is the Principal of the college.

The institute offers Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering & Medical Electronics.[2]
The college also offers M.Tech courses in "Computer Science & Engineering" and "VLSI Design & Embedded Systems".[3] The college also offers 2 years full time MBA[4] and 3 years MCA[5] courses.
