On 19th April, 2004, DPS International School, Singapore had commenced its journey. The school is proud of our heritage being esteemed members of an illustrious family - DPS Society, a non-profit, non-proprietary educational body. This pioneer institute has traversed a long journey from its humble beginning in 1949 and today has more than 800,000 students on its rolls across the globe, nurtured by a dedicated faculty of more than 60,000 teachers. Its alumni include a galaxy of illustrious achievers in virtually every field – Cabinet Secretaries and Chief Secretaries of the Indian Government, Members of Parliament, Chief Justice of India, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, as well as eminent artistes and film actors. It gives us great pleasure to add to this exalted list the name of the youngest-ever chief economist of the powerful IMF (International Monetary Fund) – Dr. Raghuram Rajan.
In a survey conducted across 250 reputed schools by the Indian Market Research Bureau this year, DPS emerged as the highest rated educational institution. The parameters included academic excellence, teacher-student ratio, fee vs. service value and infrastructure. A similar survey conducted in 2004 by AC Nelson set DPS on a similar pedestal.
DPS International School, Singapore is a young member of this historic institute yet has made impressive strides and carved a niche for itself in the Singapore academic arena. The school owes its success to its abiding faith in an edifying environment that not only promotes academic excellence but also enables pupils to develop qualities of enterprise, self-reliance, responsibility and moral uprightness. Its students have consistently proven their mettle in the Board exams and kudos to our teaching fraternity for grooming our pupils with care, concern and unflagging enthusiasm. It is also grateful for the support and cooperation extended to it by all parents who are its partners in this venture.
On a recent visit to India, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister of Education and Second Minister for Finance, visited a few DPS Schools in India and this has resulted in the decision to conduct exchange programme with Singaporean schools such as Raffles Institution, Bukit Panjang Govt High School, etc. Ms. Ho Peng, Director of Curriculum Planning & Development Division, Ministry of Education, visited DPS International Singapore and endorsed our endeavor as she remarked, “I can see how the school is providing holistic education for its pupils. There is a strong pervasive ethos of care in the school, with the parents playing an active supportive role.”

DPS is proud to announce the establishment of a sister branch at Singapore that will continue to uphold its effort to impart an education that preserves the esteemed features of the Indian education system while integrating it with the meritorious practices of other progressive international systems. The CBSE affiliated sister branch will widen the available choice of curricula while ensuring the continuity of our essential philosophy of moulding morally upright, socially responsible and enlightened global citizens for a better tomorrow.

DPS Internationl School, Singapore, since its establishment in 2004, sent its students for ICSE Board examinations held during the years 2006 and 2007 and achieved 100% pass percentage. More over, all the students[100%] came out with distinctions among which 70% students got above 85% marks.

The issue of providing quality nurturance to all our young Dipsites has played a pivotal role in all our prospective plans and decisions. The teachers ensure the efficacy of our learner-centered classrooms and their ability to guide and counsel, impart knowledge in a manner that enables pupils to comprehend and practice with ease and comfort, is the constant focus of all our efforts. The continuous appraisal of this entire system while attempting to enhance its modus operandi is a unique feature of DPS International Singapore.
