[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Rachel Ray 123.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Rachel Ray 123.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBK004 00:18, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Please do not submit false articles to Wikipedia. They cause trouble. The article has been deleted. If you keep doing that sort of thing, we will be forced to block you from further editing. DS 04:14, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of South Park episodes‎

I have reverted your move, those types of conterversal edits, like doing a split-off, should be discussed in the talk page first to gain consensus. Thanks Secret account 19:48, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Concern over User:Dpm12/Jacksonville

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your user subpage at User:Dpm12/Jacksonville, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's user page policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here? I'd appreciate hearing your views, such as your reasons for wanting this particular page and any alternatives you might accept.

There are several options available for resolving this matter:

  • If you can relieve my concerns through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
  • If you decide to delete the page yourself, please add {{Db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it.
  • If the two of us can't agree on what needs to be done, we can ask for help through Wikipedia's user pages for discussion, which may result in the page in question being deleted.

Thank you. --12 Noon  21:15, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Please don't delete it! Thanks! User: Dpm12

Hello, Dpm12! You will need to either tag it with {{db-userreq}} or weigh in here with your reason(s) to keep it. Good luck!--12 Noon  01:14, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Billy and Mandy

You made two edits to two separate articles:

  1. first edit on List of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy episodes [1]
  2. second one immediately after [2]

You did the same for The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. The first edits have the correct date; I've reverted the second edit. Not sure why you did that. Yngvarr 23:11, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Please stop. Your edits are incorrect. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:54, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Please do not add Youtube links to Wikipedia. This is an encyclopedia, not a fan page. Many Youtube posts fail copyright, and are here today, gone tomorrow. -- Elaich talk 07:16, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] January 2008

Thank you for your contribution to Lois Griffin, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the Sandbox to get started. Thank you. "Lois showing off her ass." is not considered an appropriate caption for that article. Also, the category you created, Category:Fictional females, is excessively broad, and won't last the week. Please do not restore it to Family Guy articles. / edg 14:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Bullz-Eye's All-Time Best Cartoon Characters

A tag has been placed on Bullz-Eye's All-Time Best Cartoon Characters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
