[edit] message from Claveau
Hi!
You recently left a message on my user page and I'd like to thank you for the welcome note. I have just finished translating an article from French to English on Leopold Senghor, but it would need to be proof-read and checked but I don't know how or if it's possible to add a template that would ask for it. Anyway, thanks for your help in advance! Claveau 21:33, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Users who have found the Mona Lisa
If you found it put your name here! (without cheating)That means no looking at editing version or the history differences!

[edit] userboxes
Thanks for the evolution userbox. Although, I don't think that Pepsi is no match for Coke. Now, Cherry Coke, now that's a completeley different story. DannyQuack 20:09, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure it's okay for my comment to be in Danny's box ^^; I love the year of the rooster userbox you made; I'm a rooster!
Ugh, the rooster has to wait till 2017 for it's year to come back around -_-

[edit] Living music user box
You may wish to add {{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/This song is ALIVE}} to your page. Tell me what you think. Will (Talk - contribs) 08:31, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Userboxes
I've made the boxes smaller, tell me what you think:
This user was born in the year of the rooster. |
This user was born in the year of the dog. |
This user was born in the year of the monkey. |
This user was born in the year of the pig. |
I hope you like them. Which animal are you? I would be happy to make one for you. And also I made this one:
' | This user swims with the penguins! |
For you and all other penguin fans! Thanks for supporting me and I hope you enjoy the userboxes. Happy editing! Yuanchosaan 23:39, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
P.S: More coming soon!

[edit] Writing in color
How can i write in color?
There are two ways to write in color: first, you can use the font HTML tag. So
- <font color="blue">This is blue!</font>
yields
- This is blue!
Personally, I would use the following syntax:
- <span style="color:blue">This is blue!</span>
yields
- This is blue!
This uses CSS. Hope this answers any questions. GracenotesT § 01:21, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
- You wish may to see Web colors#X11 color names for the colors that you can use (the color names). If you use hex triplets, you can have up to 16777216 colors possible! See the RGB color model and hexadecimal for more information about how to construct those. GracenotesT § 01:28, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- Hm... so this is what you wanted to use color for, eh? :p You learned a new skill in Wikitext programming in the process, though. Happy editing! GracenotesT § 03:36, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Commons Picture of the Year
Thank you for voting in the picture of the year. However your vote was invalid because you did not have 100 edits on Commons, or the diff you supplied was not correct. Please read the instructions on diff making how to do this. You can remove the strike from your vote once you have add a correct diff. Thanks, Bryan 20:04, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Semi-protection
Hi. Adding {{semi-protected}} doesn't actually protect an article. You have to request protection at WP:RFPP. Also, Today's Featured Article is usually not usually protected unless vandalism is severe (multiple malicious edits per minute). --Wafulz 15:06, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Protection
User:Wafulz Roled back your use of the semi-protect template on Diplodocus. You need to be an admin, to protect an article, else submit it for protection

[edit] Your edit summary usage
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.
