[edit] Socialism
Why are you reverting Criticisms of socialism section? -- Vision Thing -- 09:43, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- You added:
- "Some historians estimate that under socialism 100,000,000 people were killed for political reasons worldwide in less than 90 years. The correct number of people killed is disputed."
But that's unsourced, if you can provide a source, then fell free to re-add it.--ᎠᏢ462090Contribs 11:30, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Source is "The Black Book of Communism". -- Vision Thing -- 16:32, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, the source is a controversial one, and I think might be reverted again, but I'll leave it alone. Add a refernce by the by the statement, and this in the refernce section.
The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression, Harvard University Press, 1999, hardcover, 858 pages, ISBN 0674076087.

[edit] imdb screenshot
how did you create the imdb screenshot at Image:The_Internet_Movie_Database_(IMDb)1145113025625.png? It is quite good as it does contain the entire page. BadCRC 20:34, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
It's a Firefox/Mozilla Suite extension, called Screen Grab, it's pretty nice, it auto-scrolls taking sceenshots, which it puts together.--ᎠᏢ462090Contribs 20:44, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

- You removed a user template (arrested no) from my User page. Why?? Mmoyer 00:10, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I really don't remember why I did it. No harm meant.--ᎠᏢ462090Contribs 00:17, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] blocked user
You're welcome. That particular vandal obviously wasn't a newbie, and he got in a lot of vandalism before the block. Thanks for your help! Antandrus (talk) 00:09, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] VandalProof 1.2 Now Available
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:17, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NCIS talk page
I have reverted your edit to Talk:NCIS (TV series) which involved deleting a discussion thread. It is against Wikipedia rules to delete messages left on talk pages by other users as this is considered vandalism. 23skidoo 23:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
