[edit] Request for adminship

Hello! I noticed you have requested adminship.[1] However, I removed your request because it is bad formatted. If you check it, you will notice you haven't answered the first two questions, you haven't signed your acceptance, and you should have replaced the YOUR DESCRIPTION OF THE USER text with an explanation of why you are nominating yourself.

If you really want to follow this course, then correct those mistakes, and add your nomination again at the top of the list of requests, not at the bottom as you did. However, I suggest you to think it twice, as it seems you don't really know how to request adminship, having done these mistakes. In any case, good luck! -- ReyBrujo 03:37, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi; it is certain your request not go succeed. Most users who apply for adminship have been active on the project for many months and made thousands of edits; see the standards page for a random sample of what kinds of nominees voters will support. Perhaps try adminship again in a few months after you've gained a bit more experience with the project; I invite you to contribute to the encyclopedia in the interum. ~ PseudoSudo 03:39, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Btain.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Btain.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:05, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:CVU status

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! [edit] Speedy deletion of FCAT Explorer

A tag has been placed on FCAT Explorer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
