Talk:Down by Law (film)

[edit] Third Feature
I changed it to "third" feature film, because coffee and cigarettes from 86 was merely a short. Coffee and Cigarettes was not released as a feature film until 2003. Technically this might even be Jarmusch's 2nd feature film if you count Permanent Vacation as simply a student film. Either way, it's definately not his fourth feature.
- Furthermore, from the beginning of the Criterion Essay: "Down by Law, released in 1986, was Jim Jarmusch’s third movie."
[edit] Setting
I would be very interested to know the location of the swamp used in this film. Actually, according to IMDB it was filmed in Louisiana, but I suppose I still don't know the specific swamp. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.91.201.26 (talk) 13:03, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] doesn't make sense
This statement:
"...Bob, however, although the only true innocent of the three, is in fact guilty of the manslaughter for which he has been arrested"
is poorly worded so that it sounds like a contradiction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Y.H.Crana (talk • contribs) 06:35, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- I removed the worst of it but the article will likely remain weak until someone takes an interest in improving it. Doctor Sunshine talk 09:06, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
