Location of Downsville, Wisconsin

Downsville is an unincorporated community in the Town of Dunn, in Dunn County, Wisconsin, United States; the town government of Dunn is located in the area. Founded at a crossing of the Red Cedar River in 1855, the community is home to about 200 people.

Located in Downsville is the Dunn County Historical Society's Empire in Pine Museum.

About 3 miles south of the village lies the girlhood home of Caddie Woodlawn, preserved at the Caddie Woodlawn Park.

The village is widely known in western Wisconsin as the home of The Creamery, an upscale restaurant and inn. Also TJ's Inn has very good steak, Cubby's Bar has good pizza and Tilli's General Store has homecooked meals.

Downsville's businness' consist of Dairy State Bank/Post Office, Downsville Meat Locker, TJ's Inn, Cubby's Bar, The Creamery, a coffee house, and Tilli's General Store.
