Down and Outing is a 1961 cartoon directed by Gene Deitch and produced by William L. Snyder.

[edit] Plot

Tom accompanies the man of the house on a fishing trip, and tries to get rid of Jerry who tags along. The whole way there, and on the boat, Jerry causes Tom's acts to backfire on him, getting him in trouble with the fisherman...

[edit] Notes

The fisherman is actually the character of Clint Clobber.
The only music in this cartoon is the variations of the opening theme. Out of his three appearances, this short contains the only instance in which the Clint Clobber character speaks.
