Down Democrat

The Down Democrat is a weekly tabloid newspaper based in Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. It is published by Thomas Crosbie Holdings.

It is one of the fastest growing newspapers in Northern Ireland with over 100% growth in circulation over the last 2 years. It was also Newspaper of the year in Northern Ireland during 2001. Its circulation area is east Down.[1] It has substantial sports and community coverage.
